ydream08 asked: Okay, a question. So, well, I really like your works and even though I still can't understand how you draw by hand to make such great animations, I was wondering what major is needed for college to do animation if animation doesn't have a major for itself in a country? Would computer engineering work? I'm searching but I didn't see a loss at asking to you too. Hope you can reply!
Hum, this is a tumblr devoted to the art of 2d traditional animation. Each piece I post comes with the name of the animator who did it, so, obviously, I haven’t done anything on this tumblr. But I’m a 2D animator myself and the only way to achieve a beautifull 2d animation is hard work for many, many, many years. First you have to learn drawing and be VERY GOOD, and then (or in the same time), you have to learn everything about the art of animation. And any computer or software can do it for you. If you’re in united states, you can go to CalArts in L.A., I suppose to best place to learn proper animation in the US.
